Abstract:

To provide an underpants-type absorbent article which is hardly stripped by a motion during wearing, and has excellent outer appearance.

The underpants-type absorbent article 1 is the article, where a waist opening part 20 and a pair of leg opening parts 30 are formed by joining both the side parts of a front piece 10 and a rear piece 11 in an absorbent article body having a front sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3, and an absorbent body 4 held between the sheets 2, 3, and where projecting edge parts 15a, 15b, formed in joining both the side parts and including the joint parts of both the side parts of the absorbent article body, are folded back and at least a part of the projecting edge parts 15a, 15b including the joint parts is fixed to the absorbent article body.
