Abstract:
To provide an underwater cofferdam structure which does not lower a dam reservoir level during construction, minimizes diving operation in a large depth, and can be efficiently and easily constructed, and a construction method for the same.SOLUTION: An underwater cofferdam structure has a steel pedestal 30 installed along an upstream face 51 of a dam body in the water, a caisson 10 having a plurality of blocks stacked in a vertical direction on the steel pedestal 30, and a door stop structure 20 provided between the caisson 10 and the upstream surface 51 of the dam, wherein the caisson 10 has a first block 101 at the uppermost stage and a second block 102 below the first block 101, the upper end surface of the second block 102 has a horizontal contact surface, the door stop structure 20 has a pair of door stop members and a buoyancy countermeasure member provided therebetween, the door stop members have a pair of inverted L shaped projections, the lower surface of the projections has a bearing surface parallel to a horizontal surface, and the buoyance acting on the caisson 10 is supported by the door stop structure 20 by bringing the contact surface of the second block 102 into contact with the bearing surface of the door stop structure 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
