Abstract:
To provide an underwater communication system capable of appropriately acquiring information based on an information signal from a received signal even if a problem occurs in the received signal due to interference, etc.SOLUTION: An underwater communication system 1 includes: a transmitter for transmitting a packet signal including a synchronization signal and an information signal into water as an ultrasonic signal; a receiver for receiving the ultrasonic signal; a synchronization signal detection unit 24 for detecting a synchronization signal from the received signal; a gate generation unit 25 for generating a gate of the information signal on the basis of a detection timing of the synchronization signal; a frequency estimation unit 27 for calculating an estimated frequency of the information signal in the gate; and a frequency correction unit 28 for correcting the estimated frequency of the information signal on the basis of a first detection timing of the synchronization signal and a second detection timing which is a detection timing prior to the first detection timing of the synchronization signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
