Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a head band forward and backward inside of band keepers when adjusting the length of the head band as for an underwater mask.
SOLUTION: The underwater mask 1 has: a lens frame 3; buckles 6 fitted to both sides of the lens frame 3; and the head band 8 whose both of the tip parts 7 are set around the buckles 6 in an adjustable manner. The head band 8 is provided with the band keepers 9, and has a plurality of engaging gears 20 at its tip parts 7. The band keepers 9 have a first insertion hole 21 and a second insertion hole 22, and a first insertion part and a second insertion part are formed at the first insertion hole 21. The first insertion part is formed so that a part 19 along the side edge 8 of the tip part 7 can pass through it, and the second insertion part is formed so that the engaging teeth 20 can pass through it. The second insertion hole 22 is formed so that its height is equal to or a little longer than the thickness (t) of the tip part 7.
