Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oil-in-water emulsion cosmetics that produce no precipitation such as oils and fats, are excellent in temporal stability, have a fresh feeling of use, and are also excellent in moist feel, while containing vegetable fats and oils.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic containing the following component (a)-(d):(a) a vegetable fat and oil that is solid or paste at 25°C; (b) ester of a fatty acid having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and a monohydric alcohol having 2 to 22 carbon atoms, the ester being monoester that is liquid at 25°C, wherein at least either one of the fatty acid and monohydric alcohol that constitute the ester has a branched or double bond; (c) monoester or diester of one kind selected from sorbitan, glycerin, and diglycerin, and a fatty acid having 12 to 18 carbon atoms; and (d) polyhydric alcohol; wherein the ratio of the component (a) to the total amount of oils in the oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic containing the component (a) and (b) is 30-80 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
