Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater vehicle in which generation of fluid noise in a propeller is suppressed, and which has excellent quietness.SOLUTION: An underwater vehicle 1 comprises a body 3 which extends in an axis Ax direction, a projection part which projects from the body in a direction orthogonal to the axis direction, and a propeller which is positioned on a rear side in the axis direction with respect to the projection part. An external surface of the body includes at least one irregular part 9 which so extends as to surround the body along a circumferential direction of the body on a front side in the axis direction of the body with respect to the projection part. At least one irregular part has a concave part 11 which is configured from a concave curve line in a longitudinal sectional view including the axis direction, and a convex part 13 which is configured from a convex curve line in the longitudinal sectional view including the axis direction, and is continued to a rear end of the concave part in the axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
