Abstract:
To provide an uninterruptible power supply in which a power storage device can be safely restored even when abnormality occurs in the power storage device.SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply comprises: an AC/DC converter 5 converting AC voltage to DC voltage; a DC/AC converter 7 converting DC voltage to AC voltage and supplying the AC voltage to an AC load; a power storage device 6 that is connected in parallel to the DC/AC converter, is charged with DC voltage and supplies power to an AC load; and a controller 4 controlling the power storage device. The power storage device includes a plurality of battery units 30A to 30C that are connected in parallel to one another and are provided removably. When at least one of the plurality of battery units is replaced with a battery unit for repair, the controller detects voltage of a secondary battery of the battery unit for repair and voltages of secondary batteries of the respective remaining battery units, and the controller causes the battery unit for repair to be energized when the voltage of the secondary battery of the battery unit for repair becomes equal to the voltage of the secondary batteries of the respective remaining battery units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
