This syringe 10 comprises a breach 24 and a slot 26 adjacently to an ampule camber capable of receiving the body of the ampule 11 foldable by crushing and a nozzle 30. The ampule chamber front part of the syringe 10 for dispensing a relatively low viscosity material has a prescribed length in the longitudinal direction. The closed ampule 11 contains the relatively low viscosity material, and the ampule 11 is foldable by crushing, and it is easily located within the syringe 10 and held therein during dispensing. By the nozzle slot, the insertion of the flexible ampule 11 is facilitated, and the removal of the crushed ampule 11 is also facilitated. This system is particularly suitable for the dispensing of a dental material.
