Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit tile and a manufacturing method therefor, the unit tile allowing a tile surface having irregularities to be formed by laying thick tiles and thin tiles next to each other on an installation surface, with a simple process and without using skilled or burdensome labor, the tile unit also offering excellent water permeability so that base paper pasted on tile surface and a spacer are removed from the tile by water in a short period of time.SOLUTION: A unit tile 7 has predetermined numbers of thick tiles 1 and thin tiles 2 laid, with a spacer 3 pasted on the thin tiles 2, the spacer having a thickness that equals to a difference in thicknesses of the thick tile 1 and the thin tile 2, and surfaces of the thick tile 1 and the spacer 3 connected flush with a base paper 5 pasted on a tile surface. The spacer 3 is a paper honeycomb member having honeycomb open holes formed in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the thin tile 2, and the base paper 5 pasted on a tile surface has a plurality of water flow holes 6 formed thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
