Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate temperature unevenness in a heated part by installing on a support frame a maintenance mechanism which maintains an induction coil useful for drying paint in a shape conforming to a metal surface, and making the induction coil correspond to the shape of the metal surface by pressing the support frame on the metal surface.
CONSTITUTION: An induction heating apparatus 1 is equipped with a spiral induction coil 10 which can be deformed conforming to a metal surface and a support frame 20 extending to cover the induction coil 10. A maintenance mechanism 200 which maintains the induction coil in a shape deformed to conform to the metal surface is attached to the support frame 20, and this frame 20 is equipped with a vacuum type positioning mechanism 40 which positions the induction coil with a space kept to the metal surface. The maintenance mechanism 200 has sliding bodies 220 which slide vertically in a lot of cylinders 210 installed at equal intervals in both circumferential and radial directions in the support frame 20. A fixing device 250 has a fastening band 240 for fastening a friction rod 230 at a specified strength.
