Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the compression movement of a seat belt caused by the interference of a a bag expanding and spreading along an automobile room side face.
CONSTITUTION: The inner panel 4a of a front door 4 is interposed with an air bag unit 1 for expanding and spreading a bag body 2 generally along an automobile room side face. A belt non-interference part 3 obliquely formed toward lower oblique is formed on the generally upper latter half section of the bag body 2. In expanding and spreading the bag body 2, the bag body 2 is prevented from interfering with a seat belt 6 penetrated through and pulled out from the through ring 8a of an adjuster 8 provided on the upper side of a center pillar 7.
