UNLOCKING DEVICE FOR FINGERPRINT MATCHING TYPE DOOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003336420
Kind Code:

To provide an unlocking device by fingerprint matching that eliminates the disadvantage that forgetting a password disables unlocking, and precludes breakage of a costly electronic lock circuit by tampering and an invader.

The unlocking device for a fingerprint matching type door comprises a primary fingerprint detection sensor 3 disconnected from the electronic lock circuit, and a secondary fingerprint detection sensor 4 connected to the electronic lock circuit. The secondary fingerprint detection sensor is securely locked and protected by a cover 7. If a fingerprint detected by the primary fingerprint detection sensor 3 is identical with a fingerprint registered in advance, the cover is unlocked and automatically or manually opened to enable an operation of the secondary fingerprint detection sensor 4, and if a fingerprint detected by the secondary fingerprint detection sensor is identical with the fingerprint registered in advance, a door is electronically unlocked.
