Abstract:

To provide a stretch packaging method for reducing the burden to a worker, enhancing the workability and improving the packaging productivity by removing mechanically and automatically an unnecessary film remaining on a packaging section, and also provide a packaging machine thereof.

In a stretch packaging method in which a film 4' is fed to a packaging section and stretched in tension and a commodity B is packaged automatically on the packaging section while both side ends of the film are clamped by a film feed means 6, the film 4a' remaining on the packaging section is transferred in the end direction by a film feed means 6 when the film feed means 6 is actuated for packaging a following commodity in the state of leaving the unnecessary film 4a' on the packaging section, and the unnecessary film is separated from the feed means in the vicinity of the end and ejected from an ejection site 33 in an unnecessary film removing method, and an ejection site 33 is formed below the end of the film feed means 6 on the downstream side of the packaging section (b), and the unnecessary film 4a' is ejected to the ejection site 33.
