PURPOSE: To obtain the unpacking apparatus of a package which is compact and also conducts an operation for taking apart contents of the package simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyor 14 for carrying packages in is arranged in the lower part of a reversing frame 12 rotatable in a 180-degree arc and a conveyor 16 for carrying leaf tobacco out, in the upper part of the frame 12. A back plate 57 for guiding the contents of a package is arranged between both conveyors. Further, pressing plates 18, 22 for pressing the package and a packing material sucking wrapper tube 26 for sucking the packing material of the package are arranged in the reversing frame 12. A packing material-removing mechanism 30 for removing the packing material from the wrapper tube 26 is arranged above the reversing frame 12. The package is carried in by the conveyor 14 and leaf tobacco is carried out from the packing material with the inversion of the reversing frame 12 and carried out by the conveyor 16.
