Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled one-pack and solventless varnish, having improved operating efficiency and dimensional stability and heat and moisture resistance, and comprising an unsaturated polyester resin, a novolak epoxy resin and an imidazole hardener.
CONSTITUTION: A varnish comprising (A) an unsaturated polyester resin and (B) (a) a novolak epoxy resin in an amount of preferably 5W40wt% based on (A) and (b) an imidazole hardener, e.g. Crezol Original 2E4MZ (Shikoku Kasei Kogyo KK), in an amount of preferably 1W10wt% based on (a).
USE: An insulating varnish for a transformer, motor and a motor-driven tool.
