To provide an unsealing indicative cap and a method of manufacturing the same wherein a drawback in a conventional cap and a method of manufacturing the same can be removed.
The unsealing indicative cap (10) includes a skirt (14) with threads (16) for engagement with threads on the neck of a container for opening and closure of the container and an annular fracturable band (20) suspended from the skirt (14). In that case, the band 20 comprises an outer wall (22) connected to the skirt (14) by a linear weakened part composed of fracturable bridges (18) so as to be fractured, and an inner wall (24) connected to the bottom of the outer wall (22) by a curved connection part (21) and extending from the bottom of the wall (22) inwardly in an upward direction, the inner wall (24) having an invertied J-, U-, V-, triangular curl-like or trapezoidal cross section. The inner wall (24) has a free end composed of a rim (26) provided so as to engage with a hindering means on the container. The rim (26) of the wall (24) has a curved shape formed into an acute angle.
