PURPOSE: To realize great ending capacity with powerful revolving air current generated by forming a plural number of untwisting nozzle groups so as to be opened to a splicer for ending in a fine spinning machine and the like in such a way that nozzle ports out of which air current for suction and revolution is injected, are bored in each cylindrical nozzle space with steps made in a staggered form.
CONSTITUTION: Both a needle thread Y1 and a bobbin thread Y2 are inserted into an ending nozzle 1 by turning a thread handler 10, and both the threads Y1 and Y2 are held by clamp plates 5 and 7 respectively by operating a turning lever 4. The ends of the respective threads Y1 and Y2 are cut off by thread end cutters 9 and 8. Under this condition, compressed air is injected out of respective untwisting nozzles 2 and 3, and the respective thread ends are thereby sucked in the untwisting nozzles 2 and 3 with the thread holder 10 turned so as to be untwisted. In this case, each untwisting nozzle 2 and 3 comprises both a first and a second nozzle port 22 and 23 formed, out of four ports in all, with steps made in a staggered form, and the aforesaid nozzle ports are so bored in each nozzle block 21 as to be tangential to the block while being directed to its inner part, so that strongly twisted threads can easily untwisted by powerful revolving air current.
