Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the temperature rise of an unvulcanized sleeve resulting from frictional heat during cutting, to suppress lowering of operational efficiency, to inhibit quality deterioration of an unvulcanized rubber belt, and also to prevent quality degradation of a lapped V-belt produced from the unvulcanized rubber belt as a raw material.SOLUTION: A rotation mechanism 11 has a rotational body 22 rotating together with a main shaft 16 and is configured so that an unvulcanized sleeve 105 is disposed on the outer periphery of the rotational body 22. A cutting mechanism 12 has a rotary cutter 36 in which blades are provided on the outer periphery, and cuts the sleeve 105 in a circumferential direction by pressing the rotary cutter 36 while rotating to the sleeve 105 rotating together with the rotational body 22 to form an unvulcanized rubber belt 106. An immersion mechanism 13 includes a water tank 37 provided to enable storage of water in which a part of the rotary cutter 36 is immersed to immerse the cutter 36 in the water in the tank 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
