Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise caused by frictional heat during cutting of an unvulcanized sleeve, to suppress reduction of work efficiency, to suppress reduction of quality of an unvulcanized rubber belt, and further, to also suppress reduction of quality of a wrapped V belt that is manufactured using the unvulcanized rubber belt as a material.SOLUTION: A rotating mechanism 11 comprises a rotor 22 which is rotated together with a spindle 16, and is configured to dispose an unvulcanized sleeve 105 in a circumference of the rotor 22. A cutting mechanism 12 comprises a rotary cutter 36 with which a knife is provided in its circumference. The rotary cutter 36 is pressed to the unvulcanized sleeve 105 which is rotated together with the rotor 22, while being rotated, such that the unvulcanized sleeve 105 is cut in a circumferential direction and that an unvulcanized rubber belt 106 is formed. A blowing mechanism 13 blows mist-state water over the rotary cutter 36 when cutting the unvulcanized sleeve 105 by the cutting mechanism 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
