PURPOSE: To simplify assemblability and replacability, and to prevent a crack by providing an upper case having an impact absorbing member, transparent touch panel, liquid display panel, buffering member, safety lug of the transparent touch panel, frame, and L-shaped metallic frame of the liquid crystal display panel.

CONSTITUTION: The impact absorbing member is provided at the inside opening part of an upper case 1, and a transparent touch panel 4 is equipped with a spacer provided between a polyester film and a glass. A liquid crystal display panel 5 is constituted of an upper glass, lower glass, and polarizing plate, and a buffering member 6 is adhered to the inside face of a segment terminal part. A frame 7 is equipped with the safety lug for fixing the transparent touch panel so as not to be detached from a frame during assembling work, and a face with which the buffering member 6 of the liquid crystal display panel 5 is brought into contact. Also, a metallic frame 11 whose entire periphery is worked like L is equipped with a function which fixes the liquid crystal display panel 5 from the back face of the upper case unit to the frame 7. Thus, the crack can not be generated even when the upper unit constituted of those combination is dropped, for example, from the height of 70cm.
