To provide an upper wear not giving incompatibility to a wearer, having no need for the wearer to handle a pulling member, or the like, every time for operation so designed as to prevent a front body part from becoming loose and protruding toward the front face, having such excellent functionality as not to become obstructive during playing sports, difficult to cause wrinkles along the waist line on the surface fabric of the upper wear, excellent in fashionability, having few attachments and an uncomplicated structure, easily producible, and manifesting wind-breaking effect by eliminating spaces between the body and the lining at the waist part, or manifesting ventilation effect by giving a space between the body and the lining.

This upper wear 10 comprises an outer fabric 1 and a lining fabric 2 not sewn up to the outer fabric 1 at least at the backside thereof. A belt-like stretchable member 11 is sewn up to almost the whole periphery of the lining fabric 2 at a position corresponding nearly to the waist part of the wearer so that the stretchable member 11 fits the wearer's body.
