Abstract:

To improve the aging stability of pH of a urea-containing preparation for external use and surely suppress the decomposition of urea in the urea- containing preparation.

This urea-containing preparation for external use contains urea and a mixture of a 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid expressed by formula (1) and/or its salt (X1 to X4 are each H atom, a metal, an amino acid residue or an amine residue, and X1 to X4 may be same or different) and has pH adjusted to 4.0-7.5.
