Abstract:
To provide an urea synthesis method capable of reducing energy and running cost necessary for synthesis of urea.SOLUTION: In an urea synthesis method characterized by contacting an urea synthesis liquid generated in an urea synthesis tower A with at least a part of raw material carbon dioxide at a stripper C under heating, condensating a separated mixed gas by introducing into a condenser B, and circulating the condensated liquid to the urea synthesis tower A, an oxygen supply concentration with respect to the raw material carbon dioxide is 100 to 2,000 ppm, the urea synthesis pressure in the urea synthesis tower A is 125 to 145 bar, and the urea synthesis temperature is 175°C to 190°C, having an N/C of 3.5 to 4.0 and a H/C of 0.70 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
