Abstract:
To obtain a USB hub where various kinds of peripheral devices connected to a USB port can be used by plural personal computers.
A USB hub 10 includes a first USB port 12 on the side of one host layer, second USB ports 13 on the side of plural slave layers and a USB hub circuit 14 for mutually connecting these USB ports. In this case, the USB hub 10 is constituted so as to have a switching circuit 15 for selectively connecting the first USB port 12 to one of plural third USB ports 16.
