Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use p-chloro-(N-2-morpholinoethyl)benzamide for the treatment and prevention of various dysgnosia especially caused by aging. CONSTITUTION: p-Chloro-(N-2-morpholinoethyl)benzamide of the formula is used as an active component of the objective agent. The dysgnosia which can be treated or prevented by the administration of the compound of the formula are hypomnesia especially caused by aging, primary and secondary degenerative dementia, e.g. Alzheimer's dementia or multiinfarction causing dementia, result of various cerebrovascular disorder and fit, etc. The compound of the formula is administered preferably by apenteric administration, especially peroral administration for the treatment and prevention of these diseases. The preparation is preferably used in the form of capsule or coated tablet containing about 5-500mg, preferably about 50-200mg of the active substance of the formula.
