Abstract:
To provide a compound for the production of medicines useful for elevating PDH activity of warm-blooded animals such as human.
The method for the production of the medicine uses a compound of formula (I), its salt, an in vivo cleavable pharmacologically acceptable prodrug of the compound or pharmacologically acceptable salt of the compound or the prodrug. In formula (I), the ring C is phenyl or a carbon-linked heteroaryl ring; R1 is an ortho-substituent; n is 1 or 2; A-B is a linking group; R2 and R3 are each an alkyl or the like; and R4 is hydroxy, hydrogen, halogen, amino or methyl.
