Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize an improved circuit which generates both of rotated and non-rotated images at a speed approximating that of the high-speed page mode.
CONSTITUTION: Lines of an image have bits shifted and are stored in a buffer memory and are read out in a different order and have bits shifted again to rotate the digital image at an arbitrary multiple of 90°. This circuit addresses bits in 1×2n RAM devices 14 which have (x) address lines divided into several row address lines and several column address lines, and this circuit consists of an (x) bit counter 10, which has the (y) least significant bit and the (z) most significant bit and divides (y) and (z) bits into several upper and lower bits furthermore, and means 12 and 13 which apply the least significant bit of (y) bits and that of (z) bits to column address lines of devices and apply the most significant bit of (y) bits and that of (z) bits to row address lines of devices.
