Abstract:
To provide a steroid compound suitable for treatment of CNS disorders, and a method for production thereof.
There is provided a compound of formula I having unsaturation between C4 and C5 or C5 and C6, its pharmaceutically acceptable salt or its solvate [wherein R1 is ethynyl or hydroxyl; R2 is also ethynyl or hydroxyl; R3 does not exist; R4 is hydroxyl; R5 is proton, or R4 and R5 together form keto (=O) or N as oxime (=NOH); R6 is methyl; R7 is H; R8 is methyl or H; and R9 is methyl or H, or does not exist when the unsaturation is present between C4 and C5].
