The invention relates to the use of a dose of 2.5 mg of the pentasaccharide methyl O-(2-deoxy-2-sulfoamino-6-O-sulfo- alpha -D-glucopyranosyl)-(1-4)-O-( beta -D-glucopyranosyl uronic acid)-(1-4)-O-(2-deoxy-2-sulfoamino-3,6-di-O-sulfo- alpha -D-glucopyranosyl)-(1-4)-O-(2-O-sulfo- alpha -L-idopyranosyl uronic acid)-(1-4)-2-deoxy-2-sulfoamino-6-O-sulfo- alpha -D-glucopyranoside or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS).
