Abstract:
To enhance oxidizing and bleaching effect of a peroxy compound at a low temperature such as ≤80°C.
The method uses a transition metal complex salt having a ligand containing nitrogen as a catalyst for the peroxide, wherein the transition metal complex salt is expressed by general formula (1); M[Ln]Xm, [in the formula, M is a metal atom selected from a group comprising Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mo and W, L is a ligand selected from a group comprising nitrogen-containing heterocyclic groups, X is chloride, bromide, nitrate, perchlorate, sulfate, ammonia, tetrafluoroborate, hexafluorophosphate salt or an anion of 1-22C organic acids, n is an integer of 2-4 and m is a number of 0-4.].
