Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To totalize and analyze utilization of newly arrived journals stored in a newly-arrived journal shelf in a library and make the most use for a purchase plan of new arrival journals, storage place or the like as reference.SOLUTION: An IC tag 2 on which journal information is recorded is attached to a newly-arrived journal 1 received into a library, at the same time, an RFID antenna 6 which detects that, when a user takes out the newly-arrived journal 1 stored on a shelf plate 4, the journal is taken out is installed on each shelf plate 4 of a journal storage shelf 3 in which the newly-arrived journal 1 is stored, the RFID antenna 6 is connected to an RFID reader/writer 7 and, further, the RFID reader/writer 7 is connected to a management personal computer 8 which manages output/input of the newly-arrived journal 1 by means of wire or wireless communication.
