A plural number of blocks 4 are engaged with endless type tension bands 2, 3, in the belt longitudinal direction and forming inclined side surfaces to be contact surfaces on both side surfaces of the block 4. At least the inclined side surface of the block 4 is formed of a resin material 6, and a protruded crowning 6a is formed on this inclined side surface in the thickness direction of the block 4. Since the crowing 6a makes contact with a pulley on a curved surface when the block 4 makes contact with the pulley, it is possible to relax stress concentration.
