Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve vibro-isolating performance by supporting a front end part of a V-type internal combustion engine in a position in the vicinity of the center of gravity.
CONSTITUTION: A single timing chain 12 is wound linked between cam shafts 1-of right/left banks and a crankshaft 8. A water pump 21 is arranged in a tension side of the timing chain 12, and a sprocket 23 of the water pump is driven by a back surface of the timing chain 12. An engine mount boss part 46 is provided in a bank central part surrounded by the timing chain 12, and here, a bracket 51 is mounted.
