Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a simple and effective approach for reducing VOC (volatile organic compound).SOLUTION: A VOC reduction apparatus includes: a cylindrical casing 11 in which a channel 11c is formed between an inlet port 11a and an outlet port 11b; a heater 12 which is provided on the channel 11c in the casing 11 and heats a VOC reduction object A to promote the diffusion of VOC from the VOC reduction object A; a blower 13 which is provided on the channel 11c in the casing 11 downstream of the heater 12 and suctions, together with air, the VOC radiated from the VOC reduction object A by heating by the heater 12; a concentration sensor 14 which is provided on the channel 11c in the casing 11 and detects the VOC concentration in the air suctioned by the blower 13; and a controller 15 which controls the number of rotations of the blower 13 so that the VOC concentration in the air detected by the concentration sensor 14 becomes the maximum concentration.
