Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum carrier belt which is excellent in suction efficiency by minimizing air suction from a portion other than suction holes.SOLUTION: A vacuum carrier belt 1 comprises: a belt body 2 arranged between both inner wall surfaces 202 of a housing 200; a plurality of core wires 3 embedded inside the belt body 2 along a longitudinal direction; a recessed nose 4 formed on an opposite surface from a conveyance surface 21 of a conveyed object A in the belt body 2 along a width direction when embedding the core wires 3 to a certain depth of the inside of the belt body 2; and suction holes 5 formed at predetermined intervals in a longitudinal direction of the belt body 2. Rib parts 6 for cutting off an air channel S between the belt body 2 and both inner side wall surfaces 202 of the housing 200 by being displaced so as to be in contact with both inner wall surfaces 202 of the housing 200 by negative pressure generated inside the housing 200 during air suction are provided at both side parts of the belt body 2 in the longitudinal direction respectively.
