Abstract:

To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of restraining a cleaning efficiency from lowering.

One end 3a of an operating shaft 3 is attached to a cleaner body 2 to make the cleaner body 2 having a dust suction opening 25 rotatable in the direction of advance and withdrawal. A handle portion 4 is provided in the other end 3t of the operating shaft 3 to make it rotatable around the long shaft L of the operating shaft 3. Consequently, when the handle portion 4 is grasped to advance the cleaner body 2, even if a twisting force rotating the handle portion 4 around the long shaft L is given to the handle portion, since the handle portion 4 rotates with respect to the operating shaft 3 and absorbs the twisting force, the cleaner body 2 is less likely to incline and prevents the cleaning efficiency from lowering.
