Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device 20 of a vacuum cleaner 1 for cleaning and collecting deposits on a bridge of a road, a railroad, or the like with excellent workability even in a narrow work space.SOLUTION: Side plates 24, 25 are erected from both end parts of a flat plate shaped base plate 21 extending in a longitudinal direction, and a cylindrical operation member 31 having a suction hole 28 opening while facing forward is provided at a rear end part of the base plate 21. The operation member 31 is connected to a negative pressure source 3 through a flexible tube 2. An operator grips the operation member 31 with hands, scrapes off deposits on a top surface of a floor framing of a bridge, a track, or the like by a front end part 39 of the base plate 21, scoops them to the base plate 21, and places them on the base plate 21. The deposits on the base plate 21 are guided rearward along the side plates 24, 25, sucked from the suction hole 28, and collected through the flexible tube 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
