A vacuum cleaner 1 is provided with a cyclone dust collecting device 20 in a body part 2 internally equipped with an electric air blower 6. The dust collecting device 20 includes: a cylindrical dust collecting container 22 in which swirling air flow is formed; an inner tube 51 which is disposed at the center part of the dust collecting container 22, at a peripheral surface of which an outlet 51a for the air flow is formed and the lower end of which is blocked; and a plurality of ribs 54, 55 which have spaces to a bottom surface of the dust collecting container 22, project downward from the bottom surface 51b of the inner tube 51, are annually formed and are different in diameters.
