In the vacuum forming method of the thermoplastic resin foamed sheet by drawing a vacuum from the molding surfaces of a pair of molds using both molds capable of drawing a vacuum from the respective molding surfaces of both molds, the thermoplastic resin foamed sheet used in vacuum forming has a foamed layer A wherein an expansion ratio Xa is 2-20 times, thickness Ta is 2-20 mm and a weight basis Ra is 600-3,000 g/m2 and a foamed layer B wherein an expansion ratio Xb is 4-40 times, thickness Tb is 2-12 mm, a weight basis Rb is 100-600 g/m2 and the ratio Ra/Rb is 2-30.
