To reduce the influence of external leakage to a receiver device for a radio or a television by solving the problem wherein electromagnetic wave is generated from an electric part of a product when operating (electrifying) and leaked outside, in regard to household electric products.
A heat insulating material formed by coating an inorganic fiber formed body 2 with a coating material 3 having a metal sheet and reducing the pressure inside thereof is used for a case such as a case body for products to reduce the electromagnetic wave to be leaked outside from the product, which needs heat insulation, with an electromagnetic shielding effect of the metal sheet of the vacuum heat insulating material 1, and a receiving failure and wrong operation of other receiver devices are eliminated. The vacuum heat insulating material having high heat insulating performance and high electromagnetic shielding effect can be thereby obtained.
