Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cope with gravity casting and centrifugal casting in the vacuum by arranging a drawing device in an air-tight vessel at the time of executing a continuous casting operation and carrying out the drawing device to the outside of the air-tight vessel at the time of executing another casting operation.
CONSTITUTION: A crucible furnace 11 and the draw-driving device 42 are housed into the air-tight vessel 30 and the continuous casting operation is conventionally executed. In the case of executing the centrifugal casting or water-cooled metallic mold casting, etc., a door 30b in the air-tight vessel 30 is opened, and a wheel device 44 is rotated, and by friction force between the wheels 37a and rails 34, a housing case 29 integrated with the draw-driving device 42 being a mobile truck is carried out to the outside of the air-tight vessel 30. The crucible furnace 11 is tilted through a crucible supporting plate 17a with a motor 17b and the casting operation is executed by fitting the suitable device and member to each operation in the air-tight vessel 30. Multipurpose vacuum casting apparatus can be provided in a low cost.
