When the predetermined time is elapsed in the heating of the skin material H in a heating furnace 10, the heating by a heating means (upper and rear surface heaters 31, 32) is stopped and the compressed air of a cooling means 40 is sent toward the skin material H from a blow-off port 41 and the skin material H is forcibly cooled to prevent ignition or the like. That is, in such a state that the excessive heating due to work delay is generated or the movement of a clamp device 20 is delayed or stopped by any reason (e.g. the trouble of a drive motor or the like) heating is stopped to forcibly cool the skin material.
