Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the X-ray transmittance of a vacuum tube widely by preparing an X-ray transmitting surface from a reinforced carbon fiber compound material which has small permeability by gas.
CONSTITUTION: The X-ray transmitting surface of a fluorescent X-ray amplifier tube is prepared by laminating a resinforced carbon fiber compound material, a thin-plate-like, film-like or foil-like aluminum and the like. As a result, the X-ray transmittance of the amplifier tube can be remarkably improved, and the exposure rate of a photographed subject can be reduced. Besides, an extremely clear image can be realized.
