Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve soundness and reliability of a welded part by facilitating cutting and reconnection of each sector for placing a vacuum vessel in connection.
CONSTITUTION: In connection of sectors of a double wall vacuum vessel for a nuclear fusion device, welding is carried out by providing a required number of rewelding bevels 7 on both of the outer wall 2 side and the inner wall 1 side of each sector connection constructive part 6a and by interposing connecting and cutting cover plates 3a, 4a on both of the inner and outer walls (conventionally on the inner wall side only). At the time of reconnection, a new cover plate is welded by using the rewelding bevels 7.
