Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure valuables in an emergency in a valuable carrying bag contained in a briefcase.SOLUTION: In the invention, reference numeral 1 is a briefcase body; reference numeral 2 is a part of the device for carrying a valuable bag sideways thereon and is an upper holder made of a thin plate spring, normally pressing the valuable carrying bag 5 to the side of the briefcase and, in an emergency, relaxing the spring to facilitate separation of the bag 5 from the briefcase; reference numeral 3 is a part of the device for carrying the valuables sideways and is a lower holder supporting the valuable carrying bag 5. In addition, reference numeral 4 is a hook-and-loop fastener fixing cloth, which is also a part of the device for carrying the valuables and serves to attach the valuable carrying bag 5 closely to the side of the briefcase. In the illustration, reference numeral 5 is the valuable carrying bag and is fastened to an owner's garment by means of a safety wire 6 and a hook 8.
