Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear which prevents rotation of a tilting shaft of a locker arm which results from rotation of a hydraulic tappet, and to provide an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A valve gear is provided with a rocker arm 13 and a hydraulic tappet 14 which movably supports a rocker shaft 17 of the rocker arm 13. The rocker shaft 17 is indirectly joined to the hydraulic tappet 14 through a rocker shaft bracket 40. The valve gear is provided with an oil pipe (a rotation inhibition member) 41 which directly inhibits rotation of the hydraulic tappet 14 and indirectly inhibits rotation of the rocker shaft 17 around the hydraulic tappet 14.
