Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new valve seat for a fuel injection valve which enables reducing sounds caused by impact when a delivery valve is seated on the valve seat.
CONSTITUTION: In a fuel injection pump, wherein a delivery valve 2 located in the fuel injection hole 3 of a valve seat main body 1 is seated on and separated from the hole so that fuel pressurized in a plunger chamber 6 in the valve seat main body 1 is intermittently injected from the fuel injection hole 3, the valve seat main body 1 has a two-layer structure comprising an inner 7 and outer 8 layer with a vibration absorbing layer 9 provided between the inner and outer layers 7, 8.
