Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems on inclination, projection and the like of a rotating shaft of a rotor configuring a traction drive, while simplifying a structure, reducing the number of components, miniaturizing a device, reducing a required standard of processing accuracy and the like.SOLUTION: In a valve timing change device including a driving-side rotor A rotating around an axis S, a driven-side rotor B rotating integrally with a cam shaft, and a phase adjustment unit for adjusting a phase of the rotation of the driven-side rotor to the rotation of the driving-side rotor, the phase adjustment unit includes a driving-side ring 22, a driven-side ring 31, a spherical body 40 kept into contact with the driving-side ring at a first rotation radius R1, kept into contact with the driven-side ring at a second rotation radius R2 different from the first rotation radius R1, and pressed and held by the driving-side ring and the driven-side ring at least in a direction of the axis S, and an adjustment member 50 capable of adjusting rotation/revolution of the spherical body 40. Thus simplification of a structure, reduction of the number of components, miniaturization of a device, reduction of a required standard of processing accuracy and the like can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
