Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of stabilizing carrying weight even if air is mixed in a carried body by leading suction force into pump chambers.
SOLUTION: A mounting shaft part 43 in which a first through hole 75 is formed is fitted to the axial one end 42A of a rotor 38, and a space 110 is formed between the axial one end face 77C of the mounting shaft part 43 and the inner face 107 of a cover body 32 opposed to the axial one end face 77C through a clearance in the axial direction. A second through hole 111 communicating with the space 110 is formed in the cover body 32. When the suction force is led from the second through hole 111 into a casing 41, the suction force is led into the pump chambers 81 through the space 110, the first through hole 75, and vane grooves 34 formed in a rotor body 63. By this, even if the rotor 38 is rotating, it can suck air from the pump chambers 81, and even if the carried body is mixed with air, the carried weight can be stabilized.
