Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an increased life for a rotary shaft and a bearing, by a method wherein pump parts in a 2-stage are connected on a rotary shaft, the suction port and the delivery port of each of the pump parts are positioned facing each other, and the suction and delivery ports are formed in a position allowing them to be positioned linearly symmetrically about the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A vane pump 2 run with the aid of a motor 3 is formed such that pump parts 11 and 12 in a 2-stage are situated in juxtaposition along a rotary shaft 4. The pump parts 11 and 12 are provided with pump rings 19 and 20 and rotors 21 and 22, respectively, and pump chambers 23 and 24 surrounding the rotary shaft 4 and formed approximately in a circle are formed in the pump rings 19 and 20, respectively. In this case, in the pump parts 11 and 12, the centers of the pump chambers 23 and 24 are positioned in a spot where the centers are situated linearly symmetrically about the rotary shaft. Suction holes 29 and 30 and delivery holes 35 and 36 are positioned facing each other, and the suction holes 29 and 30 and the delivery holes 35 and 36 are formed in a position allowing them to be positioned linearly symmetrically about the rotary shaft 4.
